NATCHITOCHES – Small business owners and entrepreneurs who participated in an April 28 workshop at Northwestern State University learned strategies to manage family dynamics, how to clarify roles, communicate better and establish healthy boundaries.  Led by Christy Pennison, Be Inspired Counseling’s founder and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, business owners/family members discussed conflict management and finding success through supportive collaboration.  “Thriving Together: Navigating Family Dynamics in Business” was hosted by NSU’s Office of Economic Development and Advancement and the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Louisiana Central’s Business Acceleration System. Personnel in the Office of Economic Development have launched a survey for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs to determine how NSU can assist them.  Click here to take part in the survey:  LINK or access the QR code below.  Information on NSU’s Office of Economic Development and University Advancement is available at https://www.nsula.edu/edio/.
