Welcome to NSU! After you’ve been admitted, it’s time to really embrace your life as an NSU Demon. Here you will find information relevant to all NSU students, from campus housing and dining, to getting your myNSU student account and Moodle access.

All students receive a user account name and password that enables access to a single sign-on (SSO) environment for all online services. One such service is MyNSU.

MyNSU is your one-stop shop where you can use NSUConnect to access grades, schedule, financial Aid, etc., enjoy easy access to Email and Moodle (NSU’s Online Learning Management system), and receive important notices and messages.

To simplify the registration process, we encourage all students to connect to “NSU Connect” through their myNSU account.

  • If you have completed less than 30 hours at NSU, you will have an advisement hold on your account. You will need to call or email your advisor and they will be able to assist you with an “alternate PIN” for registering your classes.
  • If you have over 30 hours at NSU, you may register yourself online at
  • Transfer students with more than 30 hours can also register on-line (after speaking with an advisor).
NSU uses Moodle to deliver online courses. Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is a free open-source learning management system that serves educators and learners across the globe.

Once students receive their NSU username and password, they may log in to Moodle. Students will see their registered courses listed in Moodle on the first day of classes.
