Tuition and Fees

For students who attend NSU exclusively online:

Undergraduate: $375 per credit hour up to 12 hours, then $100 per credit hour thereafter*

Graduate: $475 per credit hour up to 9 hours, then $100 per credit hour thereafter*

*Rates are per semester. Additional course and/or professional fees may be assessed as applicable.
** While Northwestern State University does not directly assess any amount for verification of student identity, students taking courses that require proctored assignments may incur separate out-of-pocket expenses for proctoring services.

Internet-Only Students Do Not Pay Any Out of State Fees

For military students:

Northwestern State University is dedicated to working with military students and dependents to ensure a smooth process.
