NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s School of Biological and Physical Sciences will host the annual spring Science Showcase from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14. The event for high school junior and seniors will include tours, demonstrations, a question and answer panel with science majors and more. There is no cost to participate.

 

Students and teachers can register to attend by visiting sciences.nsula.edu and clicking on the Science Showcase tab, which will lead to registration forms for groups and individuals.

 

The Showcase will give high school students a glimpse at college life as they meet NSU Sciences faculty and students, explore science education and research facilities and learn about student events and organizations. Hands-on demonstrations will be led by science faculty as students rotate through workshops. NSU Sciences students will lead a panel discussion about scholarships, career opportunities and more.
