The Universities of Louisiana will host its annual ULS Day at the Capitol on April 10th. A swarm of students, faculty, staff and alumni will visit the capitol to promote the System and support from our state’s leaders.

You can be a part of the action here at NSU, by registering to attend the event through this form. The Student Government Association, the NSU Alumni Association, and First Year Experience have come together to sponsor your trip to Baton Rouge that includes an in-depth look at Louisiana Governmental Affairs and how it relates to Higher Education.

Each student who travels with us will receive breakfast and lunch. This trip is usually from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, so make plans accordingly. We will have Academic booths to showcase programs, performances representing CAPA, and our spirit groups to show off our pride.  We would like everyone to wear your favorite purple NSU shirt.  We’re shooting for a goal of 250 students this year, so once we hit our goal, registration will be cut off. An excuse will be provided for missing classes, but you should still have a plan of action with your professors.  You will receive a schedule and instructional email a week out of the event.  Make sure to register soon to hold your place today!

Become involved in your state, and the future of higher education.  For Your Future.  For Our Future.
