NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education will offer a driver education course Oct. 6-9 from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. in South Hall on the NSU campus. The class is available during the fall break for Natchitoches Parish Schools.
This course will consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum of eight hours of practice driving (behind-the-wheel instruction). Participants will receive a certificate verifying successful completion of the course. Students must be 15 years old on or before Jan. 6, 2026, to take the course.
The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 26. A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m.
