NSU to close for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday

NATCHITOCHES –Northwestern State University will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Campus offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Ceramics class to begin Jan. 23

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a beginning ceramics class starting Thursday, Jan. 23 The class will be held each Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Room 113 of the Fine Arts Annex until March 19.

Jackson Parish group honors Wynder as one of “North Louisiana’s finest”

NATCHITOCHES – Loletta Jones Wynder, director of the Creole Heritage Center at Northwestern State University, was among the recent recipients of the “North Louisiana’s Finest” Award presented by the Chatham Community Support Group.
