NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s School of Business hosted an event to recognize students who placed in the Top 10 in the state of Louisiana on either the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in Word 365 exam or the MOS in Excel 365 exam. The students were enrolled in business administration and/or computer information systems classes and took the certification exams as part of the class. Scores and the time it took to complete the exam determine placement in Louisiana.  The top overall winner has the option to compete at a national competition this summer.

NSU students took 18 of the top 20 spots in Louisiana for Fall 2023, according to Dr. Curtis Penrod, director of the School of Business.
