NATCHITOCHES – A candlelight vigil for suicide awareness and prevention has been postponed and the location changed due to expected inclement weather.  Northwestern State University’s Office of Counseling & Career Services has rescheduled the Suicide Prevention and Awareness Candlelight Vigil for Monday, Sept. 20 at Collins Pavilion.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is being held in memory of those lost to suicide and those who loved them.  The vigil is open to the public and is being organized as part of September’s Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month.
