NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University will present the February Cane River Reading Series featuring Katherine Perkins, co-author of nine novels, including the “Fair Folk Chronicles” and the “Gothcraft” trilogy.  Perkins has published 15 short stories, mostly through Writerpunk Press charity anthologies.

 

She will read and discuss her work at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 in the Student Union Ballroom.  Admission is free and open to the public.

 

Born in Lafayette, Perkins is a graduate of the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts.  She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and cat.
