NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University and Natchitoches communities are invited to sing with NSU’s Cane River Singers for the 2025-2026 season. Cane River Singers is the university’s non-auditioned symphonic chorus open to students, faculty, staff and community members.
Conducted by Dr. Shane Thomas, NSU’s director of choral activities, this season will include a performance of Mozart’s “Coronation Mass” and Finzi’s “In terra pax” featuring NSU alumnus Micah Dugas on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall and parts 2 & 3 of Handel’s “Messiah” with the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall.
