Jacob Mullican of DeRidder receives Police Jury Scholarship 

NATCHITOCHES – Jacob Mullican of DeRidder, a junior history major at Northwestern State University, has been named as a recipient of a 2025-2026 Police Jury Association of Louisiana Scholarship. 

The scholarship is awarded annually to upper division undergraduates at universities throughout the state. NSU’s history faculty recommended Mullican for the scholarship.

Agreement with North Louisiana Crime Laboratory will provide internship opportunities for students

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Physical Sciences and Department of Biology and Microbiology have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the North Louisiana Crime Laboratory in Shreveport.
