Students named to President’s list earned 4.0 GPAs

NATCHITOCHES – Five hundred and forty-two students were named to the Spring 2022 President’s List at Northwestern State University. Students on the list earned a grade point average of 4.0. Notary class to begin June 16

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning & Global Engagement will offer a Notary Public Exam Prep Course starting June 16. Class time is 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday until Sept. 22. The early bird fee is $430 until June 10 and $450 after that date.

NATCHITOCHES – The 42^nd annual Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival will be held on Saturday July 23 in air-conditioned Prather Coliseum, 220 South Jefferson Street on the campus of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. Nicholas Cooksey of Bossier City among recipients of Police Jury Association scholarship

NATCHITOCHES – Nicholas Cooksey, a junior history major at Northwestern State University, has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Louisiana Police Jury Association.

The scholarship is awarded annually to upper division undergraduates at universities throughout the state. Cooksey was recommended by NSU’s history faculty for the scholarship.
