NSU WRAC will close

Northwestern State University’s NSU’s Wellness, Recreation and Activities Center will abide by Gov. John Bel Edwards’ public health directive intended to curtail the spread of COVID-19 and will close at the end of business hours March 16. The WRAC will remain closed through April 13 when the governor will reevaluate the state public health situation at which time the measures could be extended.

Early registration underway for summer and fall semester

NATCHITOCHES – Registration for the summer and fall 2020 semester is underway at Northwestern State University.

Northwestern State students can begin the registration procedure by checking the online schedule of classes through NSUConnect then meeting with their advisor. Students can sign up for summer and fall classes through NSUConnect based on the following registration schedule.

Northwestern State University is partnering with local, state and federal public health departments to keep the campus community informed about the coronavirus and the measures individuals should take to stay healthy.

Cancellations and Postponements

Northwestern State University has cancelled or postponed several large events in the wake Gov. John Bel Edwards’ March 13 proclamation to halt gatherings of more than 250 people until April 13.
