NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Engineering Technology has added a professional development component to the schedule of events that are part of the Department’s inaugural alumni reunion on Saturday, April 6.

A professional development event will take place in Williamson Hall from noon-2 p.m.  The presentation will discuss opportunities available for Engineering Technology graduates to pursue licensure, emphasizing the benefits and the NCEES requirements involved. Guest speaker Steve Lindsey will share his own experience of becoming a licensed professional engineer across 10 states nationwide.  Lindsey is an Electrical & Instrumentation Group Lead Engineer at Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC.

 Alumni of the department are invited to bring their families, reconnect with classmates, network with current students and faculty and expand their professional network. The event will include games, souvenirs and refreshments.
