NATCHITOCHES – Natchitoches Mayor Ronnie Williams, Parish President John Richmond, SWEPCO External Affairs Manager Michael Corbin and NSU Director University Affairs Jennifer Kelly will brief the public on recovery efforts in being made in the area from Hurricane Laura. Representatives will specifically address ongoing power outage restoration, the FEMA application process and plan of action for debris removal in the area.
The press conference will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 and will take place on the hillside steps near Iberville Green that overlook NSU’s large commuter parking lot. Parking is available near Iberville Green, Iberville Dining Hall and University Place II.
