NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Natchitoches and Shreveport campuses earned designation as Wellspots, a distinction promoted by the Well-Ahead Louisiana program.  Well-Ahead Louisiana, an arm of the Louisiana Department of Health, focuses on promoting healthy choices and resources to better the communities and lives of Louisiana residents.  NSU was designated as a Level 2 Wellspot last October, thanks to the efforts of Health Services Director Jessica Nash, former director Carla Walker and Tiffany Rogers, student health coordinator on NSU’s Shreveport campus.  Pictured are Rogers on the Shreveport campus and Natchitoches campus nurses Beth Houghtby, Yvonne Grant and Nash.   To learn more about Well-Ahead Louisiana, visit https://wellaheadla.com/.
