This workshop will provide an introduction to creating video content for your courses. We will also cover using Northwestern’s VIC (Video Integrated Content) to connect these videos with your courses. VIC is a library that holds all of your videos in one easy-to-use place. If you want to enrich your classes with videos, this workshop is for you!

WebEx QnA:  Thursday, October 6, 9:00 – 10:00 am
If you have used WebEx but still have questions, this is the workshop for you. Laura and Emily will be answering all of your burning questions, and the floor will be available to share ideas you have about WebEx as a tool with your colleagues. Topics will range from basic to advanced. Bring your questions and join the discussion!

WebEx Personal Room: Tuesday, October 11, 9:00 – 10:00 am
Your WebEx Personal Room is a valuable tool for engaging with online students. In this workshop we will cover how to open and run your personal room both as a one-on-one meeting option as well as an open office for online classes. We will also be highlighting some new and unique features of the room that are different from the standard training sessions.

Moodle Troubleshooters:  Tuesday, October 11, 10:00 – 11:00 am
Ever had a question about how to do something in Moodle but were afraid to ask? Can’t figure how to do something in Moodle? This workshop is here for you. This workshop is for people to bring in questions and curiosities about Moodle and have them answered with detail and demonstration. No outline, nothing planned. Just one hour for you to get those bothering Moodle questions answered.

Managing Your Moodle Gradebook:  Thursday, October 13, 10:00 – 11:00
This workshop will cover the tools and techniques to maintain your Gradebook in Moodle 2.5 effectively.

WebEx Basics & Scheduling:  Tuesday, October 18, 9:00 – 10:30 am
We have combined the basics of WebEx with the scheduling of WebEx sessions into one training. Learn the basics of participating in a WebEx session and what it takes to host training of your own. We will then go over how to schedule a training sessions and accessing the reports generated by WebEx.

Moodle Basics:  Thursday, October 20, 10:00 – 11:30 am
In this workshop we will cover the breadth of available options within the LMS and success the basic tools needed for implementing a Moodle course.
