Making the transition to college is an exciting time but can also be challenging without a little guidance.

For the spring semester, we will be offering a New Student Orientation on Thursday, January 6, 2022, for undergrad students admitted for the spring 2022 semester. Students can register by clicking the link below. The orientation program is designed to provide new students with the information, resources, and support needed to help facilitate a successful transition to Northwestern State University.

What to Expect at New Student Orientation:

• Opportunities to connect with future classmates and explore your campus
• An introduction to NSU student services and resources
• Meet with an academic advisor who will help you understand your major and schedule of classes
• Register for the spring semester
