Shaver’s Catering of Shreveport will serve alligator lettuce wraps with crema avocado and jumbo peeled shrimp cocktail at Northwestern State University’s fourth annual Flavor of Louisiana event, set for 6 p.m. Friday, April 3 in Prather Coliseum.  Flavor of Louisiana will feature chefs and caterers from around the state offering delectable seafood dishes to sample, along with specialty cocktails, desserts, music, raffles, a silent auction and more. All proceeds benefit student scholarships and academic programming at NSU.  Shaver’s Catering was voted Best Caterer in Shreveport/Bossier last year.
