Several volunteers from Northwestern State University participated in the second annual Legacy Lunch sponsored by the Ben D. Johnson Educational Center in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Volunteers from the School of Business, Theta Chi, Alpha Omicron Pi and Kappa Alpha joined Neeru Deep, instructor of psychology; NSU President Dr. Chris Maggio and Dr. Beth Prejean, assistant professor of business, in greeting guests, moving desks, taking plates to cars, holding signs and helping in the kitchen. “The Ben D. Johnson Center thanks NSU for all of the support it received,” said Zach Johnson, volunteer coordinator. The lunch benefits the Legacy Youth Development program, which teaches life skills and occupational skills to people ages 18-24 who are out of work and out of school.
