Welcome to the Office of Technology, Innovation, and Economic Development

The Vice President for Technology, Innovation, and Economic Development serves as the key administrator in the development and continuance of business and industrial partnerships that will enhance economic development in the region, the state, and the country. In addition the Vice President is responsible for the operation of the departments of Electronic and Continuing Education, the Small Business Development Center, the Office of Sponsored Programs, NSU@Barksdale, NSU@Marksville, NSU@BPCC, and the CENLA and Leesville/Ft.Polk campuses.

Northwestern State Northwestern State University’s Office of Technology, Innovation, and Economic Development is comprised of Electronic and Continuing Education, the Small Business Development Center, the Office of Sponsored Programs, NSU@Barksdale, NSU@Marksville, NSU@BPCC, and the CENLA and Leesville/Ft.Polk campuses. We think of education, innovation, and technology more broadly and from a variety of perspectives so that more people can benefit and have a greater quality of life.
