Dr. Paula Furr inducted into SPRF Hall of Fame

Furr retired in July as head of the Department of New Media, Journalism and Communication Arts at Northwestern State University, having served on faculty since 2000. She was nominated for induction by former students.

53rd annual Porter Forum will address business and sustainability

The forum is made possible by the endowment established by the family and friends of the late J. Walter Porter in recognition of his interest in improving the image of business as a career field for college students and of his concern for moral and ethical standards as expressed in his philosophy of business.
