Erica Greer, student in NSU’s Nursing program, was recently awarded a $500 scholarship by Crest Industries, LLC. Crest Industries awards this scholarship on an annual basis and Erica is one of the top four students who received this award based on academic achievement, leadership, and extra-curricular activities/work experience. Erica will be starting her Nursing Clinical rotation in the fall 2016 at NSU’s Cenla Campus. She has made the Dean’s list since starting NSU in the fall 2013 and is expected to graduate in the summer of 2018. Staff and faculty from NSU participated in the second annual Cenla Career Fair. This is an annual event hosted by the Central Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management. The event is open to the public and allows participants to speak with area employers about potential job/career opportunities available in the Cenla and surrounding areas. The NSU Nursing faculty are pleased to announce NURB 2160 will be offered this fall 2016 semester at the Cenla campus. In the past, students have had to drive to Natchitoches or take the course online. The course will be offered on Mondays from 1-3pm.
RN to BSN Cenla students participated in NSU’s Research Day where they displayed their research posters!
