Stacy named dean of the College of Business and Technology

NATCHITOCHES – Dr. Mary Edith Stacy has been named dean of the College of Business and Technology at Northwestern State University. Her appointment has been approved by the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System. Stacy has been interim dean since October 2021.

NATCHITOCHES – Miss Northwestern – Lady of the Bracelet Makenzie Scroggs was first runner-up at the past weekend’s Miss Louisiana Competition in Monroe. Former Miss Northwestern-Lady of the Bracelet and alumna Jourdan Waddell, Miss Belle of the Darbonne, was second runner-up.

NSU’s Victoria Dettinger named All-American in rowing

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University rower Victoria Dettinger has been named the second All-American in the history of NSU’s rowing program.
