NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University is looking to match students seeking part-time jobs with local employers who have part-time employment positions. A Part-Time Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom.

“Getting a good part-time job is important for many Northwestern students,” said NSU Job Location and Development Officer Sarah Burkhalter. “It is a great way to help pay for college while gaining valuable experience. Many local employers want to hire Northwestern students and this event is an easy way to match employers and employees.”

Participating employers include Cane River National Heritage Area, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Fresenius Medical Care North America, Dallas Police Department, Mariner’s Restaurant, City of Natchitoches Early Childhood Education and Development, Huddle House of Natchitoches, Northwestern Mutual Shreveport/Bossier City/Natchitoches/Monroe, Super 8 by Wyndham Natchitoches, Natchitoches Parish Library, Fastenal Company, Little Works in Progress Pediatric Therapy, Melrose Plantation and Virtual Partner Advantage.

Students should bring a resume and be prepared for a possible interview.
