About Student Engagement

The Department of Student Engagement (DOSE) is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive a well-rounded college experience by offering opportunities for students to connect and grow outside of the classroom. From leadership opportunities to free events for students to attend, Student Engagement wants to help foster a sense of belonging at NSU for all Demons!

With over 100 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), 16 Greek organizations governed by the three councils, volunteer opportunities, and a multitude of other involvement opportunities, there is something at NSU for everyone! You are also able to work with us to create a new campus organization if there is something that you believe will positively contribute to the student college experience.

DOSE oversees multiple large initiatives at NSU such as:

  • Demon Days Welcome
  • Family Day
  • Freshman Connection
  • Homecoming
  • Miss Northwestern Lady of the Bracelet
  • Student Professional Development Workshops

We are here for the students, so if there are initiatives you would like to see on campus or are looking for ways to be involved, please let us know!
