NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University Horn Choir will perform in concert on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. The ensemble is conducted by Professor of Horn Dr. Christine Coreil.
The group will perform the “Finale” from “The Firebird” by Stravinsky, “Espana” by Chabrier, the Sousa march “Fairest of the Fair” and original works for horn choir by Kerry Turner and C. D. Wiggins. The NSU Horn Choir is comprised of students from NSU and the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts with a strong interest in horns.
