NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University Theatre and Dance will perform the musical “Ordinary Days” April 12-14 and 19-23 at 7:30 p.m. and April 23 at 2 p.m. in Theatre West.

Tickets are $15 and $12 for senior citizens. NSU, Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts students are admitted free with a current I.D. Those attending are asked to wear a mask in keeping with School of Creative and Performing Arts protocol. Seating is limited and advance reservations are encouraged. “Ordinary Days” is a song cycle with music and lyrics by American composer Adam Gwon. Set in New York City, the musical follows four characters, Claire, Jason, Warren and Deb, exploring how their ordinary lives connect in the most amazing ways. The show includes 21 songs which tell the story of these two men and two women.

Two casts will be used for “Ordinary Days.” Cast A is Marshall Merritt of Shreveport as Jason, Sophie Stechmann of Chalmette as Claire, Max Hebert of Cut Off as Warren and Virginia Tudor of Alexandria as Deb. Cast B is Austin Anderson of New Orleans as Jason, Abigail Aldridge of Mandeville as Claire, Trevor Van Eaton of Shreveport as Warren and Christian Osborne of Plaquemine as Deb.
