NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University Percussion Ensemble will present its fall concert on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. A livestream will be available at capa.nsula.edu/livestream.

The concert will consist of works that are visually appealing and musically satisfying. The ensembles range from marimba quartets to large percussion orchestras. Dr. Oliver Molina directs the ensemble.

Pieces that will be performed are “Introduction and Dance” by Kushida, “Death Wish” by Gemma Peacocke, “Boom Bap” by Nick Werth, “Fractalia” by Owen Clayton Condon, “Benedict(us)” by Joe W. Moore III, “Colored Windows, Tempered Rooms” by Baljinder Sekhon and “Shofukan” by Snarky Puppy’s Michael League.
