Financial Literacy Tutorials at NSU

Northwestern State University is committed to helping our students gain the knowledge they need to make educated financial decisions. In partnership with Financial Avenue powered by Inceptia, we offer access to modules aimed to help simplify some of the more complex financial topics and make them approachable for college students.

Financial Avenue is an online resource that promotes financial literacy through a range of courses covering essential money topics such as budgeting, credit management, debt repayment, and understanding financial aid. These resources are designed to help students build lasting financial skills that will help them as they navigate their time at NSU and beyond.

Students with an active NSU email address can access the modules through financialavenue.org.

Follow these steps on the Financial Avenue website:

1. Click “Find My School”.

2. Select “Louisiana” and “Natchitoches” for city and state, then select Northwestern State University.

3. Enroll as a new user using your NSU student email address.

4. Once enrolled, check your NSU email for an email from Instructure and set up your password.
