University to close Monday for Mardi Gras

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University will be closed on Monday, February 24 in observance of Mardi Gras.  Administrative offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 25. Classes will resume Wednesday, February 26 at noon.

Entries open for high school essay contest ‘Remembering Louisiana
