Phlebotomy technician grads honored; next class starts Sept. 23

The Phlebotomy Technician Course was broken into two parts that included five weeks of instruction and two weeks of clinical practice.

NSU alum Brian Sanders pens leadership book

My goal in writing the book is to help anyone who is a leader or aspires to leadership to not just make it, but to thrive and last a long time once they are in that chair,” Sanders said. “It’s one thing to be asked to lead, it’s another to be able to do it for the long haul.”

The Northwestern State University Foundation recognized Dr. Leigh Ann Myers, professor of mathematics, as the top faculty donor to the Foundation for her generosity in supporting student scholarships and other endeavors. The crosswalk - which is a partnership between DOTD, NSU and the NSU Foundation - is located near the intersection of LA 6 and North Street in front of the Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library on the university campus.
