Welcome
The Northwestern State University Robert W. Wilson Recreation Complex is a unique facility that provides students with a “country club” atmosphere focused entirely on fun and relaxation.
All NSU students are entitled to use the Complex simply by presenting their current identification card and, if playing golf, paying a small green fee. Faculty/Staff and non-university individuals may use the Complex by paying a daily fee or by purchasing a membership.

Facilities
The Pro-Shop is located in the center of the golf course. The Pro-Shop offers a variety of golf paraphernalia including golf balls, gloves, shirts, hats, and towels. The Pro-Shop also has two stocked drink machines and a vending machine that carries an assortment of snacks.

NSU Operates Northwestern Hills Golf Course. This beautiful 18-hole golf course is located on rolling hills and includes many water hazards, making each round of golf a challenging experience.

The Recreation Complex is proud to feature an Olympic-size swimming pool. It is open to students, faculty, and staff, as well as the general public. The pool includes space for recreational and lap swimming. A spacious deck with lounge chairs surrounds the pool. The pool is operational during the warm months.

Tuesday-Friday: 3:00pm-7:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 2:00pm-7:00pm
*Early closure for Student Activities will be posted.
Rules/Regulations:
No refunds; No rainchecks.
Appropriate swim wear is required (no basketball shorts, sports bras & shorts, etc.). Floatation devices must be Coast Guard approved (no plastic inflatable floaties, etc.). No outside food. No ice chests. Snack machine & soft drink machine provided. Must request pass to leave and return in same day, or payment is required to re-enter. Children under the age of 16 (must show appropriate ID) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Guest of members are welcome, but will be required to pay daily admission rate. Obey all rules/regulations and/or instructions of lifeguard on duty. No swimming allowed without lifeguard on duty.

The NSU Recreation Complex Pavilion offers the perfect setting for meetings and parties. The Pavilion is a spacious area that can accommodate up to 125 people and has a full-size kitchen. To reserve the Pavilion, contact the Recreation Complex Office.

The Recreation Complex offers four tennis courts for recreational play. The tennis courts are free and open to the general public all year.
