Credit to Kickstart Your NSU Program

If you have stopped out of college, alternative online course providers provide a pool of online courses that Northwestern State University (NSU) will accept towards your degree. Alternative credit courses are designed to help adults finish what they started—a two- or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.

NSU Admission Overview

We would love to have you join our community. Applying for admission as a transfer student is relatively easy — there is detailed information within the Admissions section of this site. If you attended NSU before, you may have a shorter path to readmission. Check out readmission details for former NSU students.

We admit transfer students in both fall and spring semesters. Most students will need to complete an application and supply transcripts for all prior college-level work.
